Chris Robinson has filed to re-open the child custody agreement he and ex-wife Kate Hudson settled upon ten years ago regarding their 12-year-old son Ryder.

The Black Crowes singer filed documents with California’s Superior Court, petitioning to have the agreement re-evaluated by the court, E! News confirmed Tuesday.

According to papers obtained, a court-assigned evaluator will administer a child custody evaluation, in addition to completing a written report.

The evaluator will also make parental suggestions in terms of legal and physical custody, as well as visitation orders suited in the interest of Ryder.

Hudson, 37, and Robinson, 50, agreed the evaluator can obtain doctor-patient and psychotherapist-patient privileges during the evaluation.

Records pertaining to their education, employment, and overall health will also be accessible. If suggested, Hudson, Robinson, and Ryder may have to undergo to psychological testing, as well as submitting to drug and alcohol tests.

The docs also noted Hudson will cover the $7,500 cost of the evaluation.

Hudson and Robinson wed in 2000, but divorced seven years later when Ryder was 2. Robinson married Allison Bridges in 2009, while Hudson shares another son, Bingham, 5, with Muse frontman Matt Bellamy. source
