Oppo F3 Plus specs, video leaked ahead of launch
NEW DELHI: Oppo has scheduled an event for March 23+ where it is expected to launch its upcoming Oppo F3 Plus smartphone. The smartphone’s specifications have been in rumours since past few days. Now, the smartphone has showed up on GFXBench benchmarking website, giving us a somewhat concrete idea about the specifications.
According to the listing, the Oppo F3 Plus will be running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow coated with the company’s ColorOS. It is supposed to sport a 6-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution display and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm processor with 4GB RAM and Adreno 510 GPU for handling graphics in apps.
The smartphone will include 64GB inbuilt storage along with a 16MP rear autofocus camera with LED flash. Although the smartphone is said to feature dual selfie cameras, the benchmark listing nly shows one 16MP front-facing camera in the Oppo F3 Plus. The secondary camera is said to include 8MP sensor.
In addition to these, a YouTube user with ‘Camera Phone OPPO’ account name has uploaded a video showing the sealed retail box of the Oppo F3 Plus. The specs mentioned on the retail box confirm the specifications revealed by the GFXBench website.
Additional information revealed includes 120-degree wide angle selfie capture, 4000mAh battery with company’s home-brewed VOOC fast charging technology and 163.6×80.8×7.35mm size. The device should weight around 185 grams.
Preliminary reports reveal the smartphone to support microSD card up to 256GB, dual-SIM support, ColorOS 3.0, Rose Gold and Gold colour variants and fingerprint sensor embedded on the home button.
The company has sent out media invites for an event scheduled for March 23 in Philippines, where it will launch the F3 and F3 Plus. The invite reads, ‘The new era dual selfie camera, Selfie expert to launch on March 23’.
For those unaware, Vivo has already launched a dual front-facing camera smartphone in the market, the Vivo V5 Plus. The device comes with 20MP + 8MP front-facing camera.
